The Targeted Rural Underserved Track (TRUST) curriculum is a longitudinal medical school experience in rural and small city underserved communities, with a goal to produce physicians committed to practice in the underserved areas of Wyoming and the WWAMI region.

WMS is accepting applications for any physician member of WMS who wants to be considered for appointment to this Committee. The physician selected will serve a three-year term with an option to serve a second three-year term. The WWAMI Track program allows a select group of students to be scheduled for a minimum number of weeks (24 weeks for Patient Care Phase*, 12 weeks for the Explore & Focus Phase*) in one specific city or state in the WWAMI region. The WWAMI program reserves twenty seats each year for qualified Wyoming residents.The current WWAMI class began course work in August, 2020 and will complete 18 months of studies here at the University of Wyoming before moving on to clerkships.
